Mobile developer Atomic Axis to open Blacksburg office, create 30 jobs

Atomic AxisMontgomery County, Virginia – Atomic Axis, a mobile solutions company based in Austin, TX., announced today that it is establishing an office in Blacksburg, Va. The company’s new satellite office, which will be located at TechPad in downtown Blacksburg, will initially be targeted iOS development and creative roles. Atomic Axis’ decision to locate an office in Blacksburg is anticipated to result in the creation of 30 new jobs in Montgomery County over the next three years.

Starting with mobile and working backwards, the company orchestrates the mobile strategy and realization for their customers.

The Montgomery County Economic Development Department worked with the Virginia Economic Development Partnership, New River Valley Economic Development Alliance and the Virginia Department of Business Assistance to secure the project for Montgomery County.  The company evaluated communities in three other states – including Texas, Oregon and Georgia – before selecting Blacksburg for its new operations.
