Blacksburg is the largest town in Virginia and home to Virginia Tech, one of the nation’s leading educational and research universities. The Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center (CRC) is also located in Blacksburg and is the catalyst for the region's high-tech cluster. The CRC is a business/research park with over 140 high-tech companies and research center that collectively employ more than 2,100 employees.
The Town of Christiansburg is the county seat of Montgomery County and one of the fastest growing towns in Virginia. The town is home to the region's major shopping district as well as Falling Branch Corporate Park, a 175 acre business/industrial park located along Interstate 81.
